Retire NetSuite without losing your history

When a company is acquired, merges or moves to a new ERP, NetSuite still holds years of financial, payroll and audit records. We keep NetSuite running through the transition, get the data out in a form the next team can use, and shut it down cleanly.

How a decommissioning runs

Five steps, run in order, with sign-off from your team at each one.

  • 1. Keep the lights on. Our admin-as-a-service team keeps NetSuite supported and closing on time until the cut-over date.
  • 2. Inventory. Map what’s in the account: transactions, master data, file cabinet attachments, payroll history, customizations and integrations.
  • 3. Extract and archive. Pull transactions, attachments and NetSuite Payroll records into archive reports in the format the receiving team asks for, starting with samples they sign off on.
  • 4. Reconcile and hand off. Tie archived totals back to NetSuite and deliver to the acquirer or new-system team with the documentation auditors will ask for.
  • 5. Shut down cleanly. Retire integrations, users and licenses on a schedule, so nothing breaks and nothing is left running.

RAPT Therapeutics

ERP Access has supported RAPT Therapeutics’ NetSuite environment as its admin-as-a-service team. As RAPT plans its move off NetSuite, we’re extracting and archiving its NetSuite and NetSuite Payroll data and keeping the system supported through the transition.

Start the archive plan before the cut-over date, not after. We’ll scope it with you.
